Hello Sandra,
Don’t feel too bad about it. It’s not easy to learn how to crochet but once you learn, it will become easier every time you do some new project. Elizabeth stitch is probably not the best one for complete beginners. You need to go through some basic tutorials before you crochet this stitch.
We will make sure to find some tutorials for newbies and post them on our blog. Stick with us ^_^
Join a knitting g club. There is usually someone there who is crocheting and I find everyone super friendly!
This is a great site for beginners: http://www.crochethooksyou.com/beginner-lessons/. I’ m a beginner, too, i followed along with the videos and learned a lot. I’ve made several hats and a blanket for my first grandchild!
Thank in advance
And God Bless you
Beautiful stitch and really wonderful instructions. Thank you. Can’t wait to try it.
How do you think this stitch will look, using verigated yarn? Would it look too busy and not able to see the peerrines if the stitch?
